Why Every Small Business Needs a Website
If you're running a business without a website, you're essentially telling potential customers to go somewhere else.
The basics
People Google everything. When someone needs a plumber, a accountant, a photographer, or any service - they search online first. If you're not there, your competitor is.
A website is like a digital shop window that's open 24 hours a day. Even if you're a one-person operation working 9 to 5, your website never sleeps.
But I have a Facebook page
Facebook pages are fine but they're not yours. Facebook can change its rules, delete your page, or the algorithm decide nobody sees your posts. With your own website, you own the space.
Think of it this way - would you build your shop in someone else's mall or on your own street? Same thing applies online.
It doesn't have to be complicated
You don't need some fancy expensive site. A simple, clean website that explains what you do, shows you're real, and gives people a way to contact you is enough to start.
Bottom line
If you don't have a website, get one. It's one of the cheapest forms of advertising that works all day every day.
